Family and friends of Rick Jay Hutton were visibly upset after the man accused of killing Hutton, Nicholas Allan Sprau, was released on his own recognizance and allowed to go on vacation next month.
Nicholas Allan Sprau, 58, of Chatfield, was allegedly driving drunk when he turned in front of a Rochester man's motorcycle on Highway 52. The man died at the scene.
