Specifically, Joyner talked about the opportunity to represent the people of District 4 as the next board starts with a “clean slate.” Those new members will be briefed today on the superintendent’s search. She considers that important task of selecting the new chief executive of the district as a reason she was excited to participate in this cycle of MISD elections.
