brad/wx wall today turned out very nice with all that afternoon sunshine and temps reaching the 40s in all of central iowa. and we for a warm, but at in fact, we are likely to see our warmest temperatures so far this year saturday afternoon! tonight will be mainly clear with light sw winds of 5-10 mph keeping our temps in the 30s most of the night. with ample sunshine and those winds increasing to 15-20 mph saturday afternoon, we will quickly warm up into the 50s by midday and then push into the 60s for afternoon highs. saturday night will be breezy and very mild with temps in the 50s most of the night. a cold front will reach iowa sunday morning with some clouds and maybe a few rain showers for mainly northern iowa. clouds will be around from time to time all day sunday, but also some periods of sunshine. the big story sunday will be with winds coming in from the nw behind this front at 20-30+ mph. our temps will hold pretty steady in the low to mid 50s most of the day ....
