One dates back to the 1930s, another looks ahead 205 years

An exclusive investigative report by the Washington Post says the brains were a part of a Smithsonian collection 'of at least 30,700 human bones and other body parts'

The world's largest collection of human brains is kept in the basement of a Danish university.

Most of the brains are believed to belong to men and women who died in Danish psychiatric hospitals between 1945 and 1982.
