Last December, Brandon Flecksteiner was named interim Brush Chief of Police after former chief, Derek Bos, left to take the same position in the Western Slope town of Eagle. On Wednesday evening the Brush City Council held a special meeting that saw a promotion of one BPD officer, two new officers sworn in, and last but not least the removal of the interim label from Flecksteiner’s title.
