A Watford City man has been charged with the death of his mother and is currently being held in the McKenzie County Correctional Facility with a $5 million bond.

The Carl Brandon Society has announced the winners of their 2019 Parallax and Kindred Awards. “After a hiatus of several years, we’re very proud to once again highlight outstanding works of speculative fiction written by BIPOC authors the Parallax and focused on racial issues the Kindred,” said CBS steering committee member K.
