The Progress-Index PETERSBURG – After 32 years as an officer for the Petersburg Bureau of Police, people are finally calling Emanuel Chambliss “Chief.” The Petersburg native was recently promoted to Deputy Chief of Police after having served a number of roles in the department, most recently as a Captain.
