Lourie Twitchell Zachry, 59, of Brownwood, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. A visitation is planned from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Heartland Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 5, 2021 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park officiated by Russell Williams. Lourie was born December 30, 1961 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Donald and Bettie Twitchell. She attended high school at Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas where she met the man she was destined to marry. Lourie married Howard Zachry in the St. Paul Methodist Church in Midland and they began a life together that blessed them with 2 daughters. Lourie’s life was all about the children. She spent her days as a homemaker and caretaker for the little ones.
