On Feb. 7, the Cambria Film Festival hosted a virtual awards ceremony to announce the winning films of this year's international competition. The festival's panel of judges made its selections from nearly 400 feature-length and short films submitted from around the world. As he promoted his latest movie, the rom-com  Breaking Fast, Sleiman threw in a few teasers for eager Marvel fans and reassured queer audiences that the studio has gone to great lengths to ensure respectful treatment. “It’s my first Marvel film, so of course, I’m excited,” he told “My gut feeling is you’ll be so proud. What Marvel has been able to accomplish, I’m so proud of them because they approached it in a very thoughtful way, and Phastos is one of the biggest superheroes in the film.
