The McClain varsity volleyball team got some sweet revenge Thursday night on their home floor when they defeated Jackson 3-1, avenging an earlier-season loss.
It was a match like most when McClain and Hillsboro get together. The place or records don’t really seem to matter, and that’s how it went down Tuesday night when the Lady Tigers needed five sets to pull out an exciting volleyball nail-biter on their home floor over their league and county rivals.
The McClain varsity volleyball team picked up a big Frontier Athletic Conference victory over Washington on their home floor Thursday night, and it took the full five sets to get it done.
After a disappointing first loss of the 2023 season last week to Wilmington, the McClain girls varsity volleyball team rebounded quite well Monday night (Aug. 28) by sweeping visiting Fairfield, winning by scores of 25-9, 25-19 and 25-13.
