A 33-year-old Independence man is facing a felony drug charge after a traffic stop in Sedalia on Valentine’s Day. According to a Sedalia Police report, the officer says he located approximately 2.9 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale and several other drug-related items in the vehicle. Court documents say Brian Eugene Tripp is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond is set at $25,000 cash or surety. Tripp was arraigned on Wednesday, February 17.
