BAKERS, litter pickers and members of a community podcast are just some of the Shaftesbury heroes that have been recognised for their work during the Covid-19 crisis. The town’s rotary club asked the public to nominate individuals who had gone that extra mile to support residents during the ongoing pandemic, and now a combination of individuals and groups have been acknowledged with certificates of appreciation.
