At 10 a.m. Friday, Iowa reported another 740 cases of COVID-19 and 27 additional COVID-19-related deaths — including another in Johnson County — since the state's tally at 10 a.m. Thursday, according to Coronavirus.Iowa.gov. Officials report a total of 5,223 people with COVID-19 have died from the disease across the state, including 68 in Johnson County.
