Coaches of the Year Named
SIOUX FALLS – Coaches from Chamberlain, Mobridge-Pollock, Potter County, Faulkton Area and Sully Buttes have been recognized as Coaches of the Year by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association. Chamberlain’s Steve Schoenhard has been named as the Region 7 Assistant Boys Coach of the Year. Schoenhard is an assistant to Head Coach Andy Nelson. The Cubs were 18-6 and made the Class A state tournament for the first time in four years. Trey Frederick of Mobridge-Pollock is the Region 4 Assistant Boys Coach of the Year.
