Island tyre company puts nature reserve back on right track | Isle of Wight County Press

A FRESHWATER tyre manufacturer has helped to restore the natural beauty of Briddlesford Woods.
The nature reserve — home to a number of rare species, including hazel dormice and red squirrels — had been the subject of illegal fly-tipping in recent months.
Chris Plant and his team at Tyres of Wight stepped in on Thursday (December 17) to clear the debris for free.
Wildlife Charity People's Trust for Endangered Species (PTES), which has owned Briddlesford Woods since 1992, said: "Rubbish was being dumped on our ancient woodland reserve in Briddlesford.

"This damages the site, costs money to dispose and looks awful.
