Our school is one of the bigst participants in the Special Olympics and its because of these kids. They are the heart and soul of our school. The School District has treated them as a liability. District for a number of years now. It was a resolution at the time it was mentioned and not everyone was familiar with and now they are embraced and demanding more of.
