DC to receive 34,000+ doses of COVID-19 vaccine this week By FOX 5 DC Digital Team Published  The announcement was made at a press conference on Monday where it was noted that the District would receive doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines from Virginia, Maryland and the federal government. D.C. will receive 8,775 doses of the Pfizer vaccine from Virginia, 8,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine from Maryland, 4,875 doses of the Pfizer vaccine from the federal government and 12,600 doses of the Moderna vaccine from the federal government.

Bridge Point Elementary School decorates holiday trail

Bridge Point Elementary School has created a holiday trail so students can celebrate the holiday season while following social distancing protocols.  The new tradition is being organized by the school’s Booster Club on the fitness trail where each class has decorated a section with a combination of handmade ornaments and those brought from home.  After decorating the trail for several days, each class had the chance to view the final results, and the decorations will be left up over the winter break so families and community members can visit the trail.  Jayme Tirres, co-president of the...
