Lets take a live look outside right now. South jersey was the first to see the snowflakes overnight. It has accumulated. It comes after mild temperatures for the beginningful december. A major winter storm is bearing down on the Delaware Valley and now crews are working hard to get ready. Blizzard and winter storm warnings go into effect in about three hours from now. They said they had everything locked down and i attempted several times but the officers wouldnt let me in. Tuesday into Wednesday morning will be the time to prepare for high winds, coastal flooding (possibly the highest in two years), heavy rain and even a little snow. A powerful nor easter has its sights for the Northeast and while southeastern New Jersey will not get the one to two feet of snow expected in the far northern parts of the state, there will be issues to contend with closer to home.
