East Bridgewater firefighter released with no bail in OUI case

Procopio said Klem was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup truck and appeared to hit a vehicle driven by Erin Bertrand, 35, of Hanover, at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, on Route 3 in Weymouth.
Bertrand, driving a 2015 Honda Pilot, was pushed off the road and into the wood line. Klem did not stop, Procopio said.
The victim s husband, Marc Bertrand, said he was glad their children were not in the car at the time and that four people stopped to help her.
East Bridgewater Fire Chief Timothy Harhen said in an email that Klem has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, and that he would not comment further, calling it a personnel matter. ....
