Start looms on project near Marathon Village

To be located at
804 14th Ave. N. and tentatively called 14th Avenue Lofts, the four-story building will offer 72 residential units and a retail/restaurant space. It will include a clubhouse, a fitness facility and a swimming pool.
Led by veteran commercial real estate professional Mark McDonald and business partner Mark McGinley, M Cubed has enlisted Dallas-based Humphreys and Partners as the architect, Nashville-based Catalyst is the civil engineer. A general contractor has not been finalized.
McGinley said 14th Avenue Lofts will act as a combination of a conventional hotel and an apartment building.
“The building could offer lots of usage flexibility,” he said, adding that could include medium- and long-term rentals, with some units potentially furnished.

Start looms on Lebanon Pike site long eyed for residential project
Work might be ready to start on a residential project eyed for a sparsely populated Lebanon Pike site about two miles east of downtown Nashville.
The two parcels have a main address of
1600 Lebanon Pike., not far east of Spence Lane. A tree removal permit has been issued for the site.
A general partnership, affiliated with BNA Investments (Ashley Quinn and Nick Adler) and local developer Brandon Plunkett, owns the four-parcel 3.1-acre property and is planning 63 one- and two-bedroom condominiums in a four-story building and 16 townhomes for the property. Previously, a 25-townhome project was planned by a different entity.

Project planned for Marathon Village-area site

Located at
804 14th Ave. N., the 1.1-acre property offers a nondescript warehouse (pictured). The seller was Chicago-based Leftbank Holdings, which paid about $2.83 million for the property in September, according to Davidson County Register of Deeds records.
The property M Cubed just acquired is located adjacent to two properties slated to be sold to SR Residential Properties, which plans a mixed-use project to be called Union Brick (read
here). Those two properties have addresses of 801 12th Ave. N. and 800 14th.
M Cubed is led by veteran commercial real estate professional Mark McDonald and business partner Mark McGinley. McGinley told the
Post he and McDonald feel the just-acquired site is “fantastic” real estate. Details and perhaps an image of their plan could be released in early 2021, he said.
