Monmouth man arrested for home invasion

A 21-year-old Monmouth man is in the Warren County Jail awaiting a bond hearing after allegedly breaking into a home. The incident occurred at about 2:30 Thursday afternoon when deputies responded to a report of a home invasion with a reported firearm involved on 90th Street South in Monmouth. The suspect was identified as Brock Noles, who fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement. No one was harmed during the incident. Noles would later surrender himself in Monmouth. He is being charged with home invasion, criminal damage to property, and aggravated assault. Assisting the Sheriff's Department were the Illinois State Police and Monmouth Police Department. If Noles' name sounds familiar, it may be related to an incident where he was the victim of a shooting in Monmouth back in April. In that case, both of the accused, Nathan A. Perez and Cayden J. Bell, are currently awaiting court dates for later this year.
