A mother and her three children are dead following a shooting in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Tuesday, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Officers said it happened at a party on North Leslie Street, Wednesday around 6:30 p.m.
"She wanted her children to see the world, and be a vital part of the world. This just doesn't fit the scene that we found yesterday."
