The proposal would develop a
4.67-acre lot to accommodate a three-story, 63-unit workforce housing building with 95 parking spaces. Based on the proposed unit count of 48 studio and one-bedroom units and 15 two-bedroom units, the total number of bedrooms equates to 78, according to the permit application.
The applicants, JHR Development and Workforce Housing Partners, are
looking to build a multi-unit housing subdivision on land owned by Hannaford, just west of the York Police Department headquarters at 5 Hannaford Drive.
The project is in the final stages and could receive site plan approval from the planning board as soon as this week, Town Planner Dylan Smith said Tuesday. The project is on the agenda for the Planning Board s meeting Thursday, June 10.
