The Chestnut Ridge School District made adjustments to its staff at Tuesday night’s school board meeting.

Some parents and boosters in the Chestnut Ridge School District are asking school officials to consider upgrading the district’s athletic facilities. A group representing the Chestnut Ridge Touchdown Club football booster club briefly spoke to the district school board at its meeting Tuesday night about their hopes for larger weight room, as well as new facilities and turf for the football field. “We’re behind the times,” said Jamie Ickes, who spoke on behalf of the group.
