The restaurant with the best-known street address in Birmingham will continue with a new owner and name. The city's planning board during its Feb. 24 meeting recommended approval of a special land use permit and final site plan for changes being made to the former Triple Nickel, 555 S. Old Woodward.  Those changes include some minor interior shifts, as well as signage on the building for the restaurant changing its name to Birmingham Pub, owned by Joe Vicari, who owns several restaurants across metro Detroit.
