December 27, 2020 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas All-American, Outland Trophy winner and College Football Hall of Fame inductee Loyd Phillips has died at the age of 75. Phillips died on Sunday after complications from a stroke. Phillips, who grew up in Longview Texas, was one of the greatest football players in Razorback history, a consensus two-time All-American for Arkansas from 1964-66.
