Although zoned for 2,137 residential units, the Ledcor Maui project proposes construction of a maximum of 975 residential homes, which includes the Wailea resort community’s first workforce housing units. The state mandated public comment period of 45 days ends on April 8, 2024.
Just in time for the holidays, Wailea Community Association’s General Manager, Bud Pikrone presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to Marlene Rice, Development Director for the Maui Food Bank on behalf of the Wailea Community.
Toy donations were collected by volunteers at the Wailea Fire Station and will be distributed to more than 25 different human services agencies in Maui County.
