spending cuts. what they're concerned about is jobs. but people want is jobs and that's what the republicans who are elected last november were supposed to do but instead they focuses on everything else except jobs, trying to bust unions, work on abortion, trying to do anything but focus on jobs. and spending cuts, quite frankly, don't create jobs. a new study from goldman sachs today shows the republican budget program will hurt the economy, hurt growth and lose jobs. i think we have to focus on what we're trying to accomplish here. i think i was -- i was there in 1995, working in the white house with president clinton, had to shutdown gingrich imposed on the country and it didn't work for the republicans then. it's not going to work for the republicans now. it's a bad political move. >> it's different now. a lot of that '95 i was here as well, working on the hill, working for a communications director for one of committees and it wasn't good plibolitical for republicans but i hope they learned some lessons.
