Fascinating Mayo exhibition focuses on bees and their influence on Irish culture and the natural environment
Photograph posted by Riggers24 with the description: I've been watching the bees in my back garden flying from flower to flower and I just love watching them feeding and collecting pollen. I've also just put 2 bee hotels up and really enjoy watching one of the guests, a Mason Bee, going in and out, laying eggs, surrounding it wtih pollen and then busy blocking up the hole with mud, it's incredible how busy and quick they are at it and it really is fascinating. This is a photo I took last year of a Buff Tailed Bumblebee on a Knapweed flower.
