“Our team has significantly grown since coming in in 2018,” added Kayla Schivo, senior program manager from the National Center for Youth Law. “So because our sheer manpower has grown, our ability to identify (families) has grown. I think that part of it is because a lot of these families have always been here but (we) haven’t necessarily had the tools to be able to identify them.”
