fbi might be doing the bullet trajectory and the evidence on the scene. the reason they may do that is because it frees up the sheriffs office to do investigative interviews. all of the agencies will divide up what the responsibilities are and those will include investigations. those include interviews at the scene and making sure all of the evidence is collected. the evidence isn't moving, but the people are. so they want to make sure they take care of the victims and survivors and families. they will try to backtrack the shooter, where he came from, why the shooter did this, what was he doing yesterday, where did the weapon come from, what is at the shooter's house, what is on his social media and commuter. a rare chance he is not an employee or former employee.

and texts by police officers that supported a contradiction in the story being told. this blue wall of violence is definitely an issue, and, you know, the police version of what happened on that night, november 29th, 2012, it's not the truth, and it's not exactly -- they are not telling the truth, and i think that's what we need to focus on, and the focus should have been on that, and yet the judge only talked about bullet trajectory, and they only focused on certain things in the case, and they didn't present or talk about all the evidence that should have been looked at about how, you know, there was coverup. i really believe there was a cover-up and i do not believe that the chase happened the way the police officers are stating. i think they know what to say in order of getting off from being charged with any type of crime.

and reflection here all around the university california system. students and schools coming together in unity and solidarity to grieve for the six lost, and to wonder what caused that seventh person to go on that bloody rampage. no classes today. and here at the sheriff's department i spoke with the sheriff over the weekend who told me they're doing as thorough of an investigation on this crime spree as they could if they expected to have a suspect to prosecute in court. they're looking at every bullet trajectory, shell casing, and interviewing hundreds of witnesses who are replaying what happened in their minds overand overagain. that 22-year-old, elliott rodger, only knew three of the six victims.

gathering. we have confirmed 13 fatalities to include the shooter, all of whom have been positively identified. our evidence response teams remain at the navy yard and continue to process the scenes. as i mentioned last night, this is a methodical and time-intensive process that includes bullet trajectory and crime scene mapping and with the assistance of our evidence response personnel from our baltimore and richmond field offices, we will remain there for as long as necessary to carefully process each shooting site. in regards to the weapons used by mr. alexis, there has been a lot of information circulating in the media over the past day. once again, we caution against obtaining information from unofficial sources, and we ask that all inquiries be directed to the fbi. at this time, we believe that
