Hardin-Houston BOE approves personnel items HOUSTON Personnel items, along with two donations, were approved during the Feb. 25 Hardin-Houston Local School District Board of Education meeting. The board employed Nicki Miller as a substitute bus driver, for the 2020-21 school year. They also approved the list of certified substitutes provided by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center. Rebekah New was given a one-year limited contract, as junior varsity softball coach. Dustin Meyer was hired as the district’s On the Bus Instructor (OBI). Donna Long was employed as a teacher under the 21st Century Grant for the 2020-21 school year. The board approved all treasurer recommendations, including a donation for the Chester McKinney Memorial Press Box Fund, for $1,000, and for the Board Scholarship Fund, in memory of Tim Long, for $50. ....
