At 8:03 p.m. Sunday, exactly three years after Sherrard was killed, the department’s dispatch center broadcast a radio message to all police and fire channels to call for a moment of silence. In September, Richardson announced it was renaming a seven-mile portion of U.S. 75 running from the Bush Turnpike to just south of Spring Valley Road the Officer David Sherrard Memorial Highway. Private donations funded new signs near the northern and southern borders of the highway as it runs through Richardson. ....
Austin investor takes Plano business center The office and industrial project is near Bush Turnpike. The building was purchased by Long View Equity of Austin.(SVN Trinity Advisors ) An Austin investor has snapped up a Plano office and industrial building. Long View Equity LLC purchased the Plano Parkway Business Center at 2701 W. Plano Parkway. The almost 114,000-square-foot property was built in 1998 and was sold by an owner represented by SVN Trinity Advisors. The business park is just north of Bush Turnpike and is west of U.S. Highway 75. The purchase was financed with an $11.2 million loan from Frost Bank, Collin County deed records show. ....

Carrollton office project would kick off mixed-use development The first phase of the project, which has been in the works for more than a year, will be a 125,000-square-foot office building. Trinity Mills Station will start with a speculative office building.(KOA Partners ) Developers hope to break ground in mid-2021 on the first phase of a 25-acre transit-oriented development in Carrollton. Called Trinity Mills Station, the project is planned near the southeast corner of Stemmons Freeway and Bush Turnpike on Trinity Mills Road. It’s a project of Irving’s Koa Partners and Atlanta-based Integral Group.
