CHARLESTON — Another paw-tastic Red, White & Blue Days has passed with over 20 dogs participating in Tuesday morning’s pet parade. Dogs from five pounds to over 100 lined up for the pet parade to showcase their patriotism and be awarded by the Charleston Police Department officers. Charleston’s annual Red, White & Blue Days celebrates the Fourth of July through various events on and leading up to July 4.

Mattoon's Fourth of July parade will start at 9 a.m. Tuesday and Charleston's parade will begin at 1 p.m., with shared fireworks set for dusk at the airport.
