Butler, Venango and Clarion 911 experiencing outages

Butler County Emergency Service experienced outage problems early Thursday, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.
Residents needed to call an alternate number for 911 — that is 724-287-7769.
The phone outages began Wednesday afternoon and extended to emergency services in Clarion and Beaver, along with 10 other counties.
Clarion County residents with trouble calling 911 were told to call 814-226-8772.
The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency posted to social media that the outages were widespread and affected customers of Century Link/Lumen in 13 counties in all.
Century Link customers in some Butler municipalities were also unable to make any calls from their land line. Officials suggested using a cellphone to call the alternative number or going directly to a local fire department for help.
