The New Mexico-based T-Birds added or improved four national top-10 marks to their haul this past weekend. New Mexico JC got a national-leading mark from
Javed Jones in the 400H at 51.66c, the No. 2 mark in the 800 from
Baptiste Depril-Dupre at 1:51.70c and the fourth-ranked discus throw from
Diamante Gumbs at 50.22m (164-9) and the fourth-ranked javelin heave from
Oscar Campos at 56.25m (184-7).
The Texans added or improved five national top-10 marks this past weekend.
Cloud County CC vaulted to the top spot in the National TFRI after a huge weekend. The T-Birds, who soared four spots from No. 5 to No. 1, added 11 national top-10 marks to their haul, including three of the top-5 spots in the 5000 –
Awet Beraki (No. 2, 29:30.74),
Edwin Kipainoi (No. 3, 32:33.33) and
Linus Limo (No. 5, 33:05.39) – and three of the top-6 spots in the decathlon –
Marcquiece Cade (No. 2, 5890),
Andrew Betton (No. 5, 5543) and
Renaldo Savoury (No. 6, 5511).
Caden Bach also moved up to No. 1 in the javelin throw with his effort of 59.47m (195-2) this past weekend.
