Festive runners raise money for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue
MEMBERS of running club, Skipton AC were not going to be defeated in their efforts to raise money for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) due to the coronavirus pandemic. The club has raised money to support UWFRA for several years by organising a fancy dress fun run in December around Grassington. It looked like the club would not be able to support the charity this year but through careful planning by club member, Darren Lambert including staggered starts and running in small, socially distanced groups around Skipton, the club has raised £920 for this great cause.
