Plumas County Complex Fire Flares Up, Prompts More Evacuations

The Beckwourth Complex Fire is made up of two fires, the Sugar Fire and the Dotta Fire. The Sugar Fire reportedly jumped containment lines over night, spreading another 1,800 acres and prompting more evacuations. The evacuation order says residents from Beckwourth-Genesee to Harrison Ranch roads should leave the area immediately as well as those around the Frenchman Lake Cove are.
