SFNF Announces Holiday Office Closure Dates SFNF News: /All Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. President Trump signed an executive order Dec. 11 to make Christmas Eve a federal holiday this year. Forest offices will resume virtual business hours Monday, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4, respectively. Cut-your-own Christmas tree permits are still available online at Recreation.gov, over the phone by calling forest headquarters or any of the SFNF district offices, and in person at Pancho’s Minute Men Shell Station at 9 S.
