A half-dozen UConn students staged a stand-in protest at Wednesday’s Board of Trustees meeting to draw attention to what they view as the university’s lethargic action on climate change, despite years of student activism including research by a working group commissioned by the university.
The UConn Board of Trustees voted unanimously Wednesday to appoint Dr. Radenka Maric, the school’s vice president for research, innovation and entrepreneurship, as the university’s new interim president.
