Christopher Taylor.
Former Calabar High School sprint star, Christopher Taylor clocked a national record 32.80 seconds in the 300m but the time was only good enough for second place at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in New York on Saturday.
Taylor, who is based in the USA, recorded splits of 11.45 after 100m and 21.53 at the 200m mark.
Trinidad and Tobago's 2017 4x400m relay gold medallist Jereem Richards won the race 32.71 seconds.
Jamaican Brittany Anderson ran 7.99 and her countrywoman Jeanine Williams clocked 8.27 for fourth and seventh in the women’s 60m hurdles.
USA's Kendra Harrison, the World indoor 60m hurdles champion and the outdoor world record-holder, was a clear winner of the race in a world-leading 7.82. Britain’s Tiffany Porter and USA’s Gabrielle Cunningham placed second and third respectively, both clocking 7.89.
