For the first time in four years of Central Missouri Activities Conference wrestling competition, the Capital City Cavaliers beat the Helias Crusaders. Capital City won nine of 13 contested matches to build a 37-26 win Tuesday at Helias Gym.
Helias won on the boards, it won on forcing turnovers and it won on 50/50 chances. The Crusaders got their conference season started Friday night by holding off the Capital City Cavaliers for a 63-51 Central Missouri Activities Conference win at Capital City High School.
