John Vazzano, a former Barnum Festival ring master and owner of Vazzy’s restaurants in Bridgeport, Fairfield and Monroe, surrendered to State Police at the Rocky Hill Police Department on Wednesday morning after being notified there was a warrant for his arrest. Capt. Mark Zuccerella said the three men were driving a stolen Toyota SUV when they approached a young man at the retail strip at 1233 E. Putnam Ave. at about 5:30 p.m. One of the suspects claimed to have a weapon, the captain said. ....
