An Altoona, Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain has announced it plans to build a new Sheetz store and gasoline station at the site of the former Hooters restaurant in Charleston, West Virginia, which has been vacant for years. The new Sheetz will take up the entire block from 56th Street to 57th Street and also includes the former location of the Captain D's restaurant, which recently closed.
