Missouri River not immune to steamboat accidents
Looking upriver and downriver from the Jefferson City bluff, it's hard to imagine 300 shipwrecks lie beneath its waters. During the time of steamboats on the Missouri River, Central Missouri has not been immune to accidents involving those boats.
