On Saturday, April 23, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, the city of Ellsworth, in collaboration with the University of Maine at Augusta Ellsworth Center, will be hosting the annual Card Brook Clean-up.

Ellsworth 2021 Card Brook & Roadside Clean-Up Info Two events coming up in Ellsworth will do just that. The annual Card Brook clean-up will take place that following Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. until noon.  Card Brook is part of the Union River watershed and runs under High Street and then between TD Banknorth and Pizza Hut, and then down the hill where it empties into the River itself.  Clean up volunteers in the past have found just about everything in the Brook, including old tires and grocery carts. Card Brook Clean-up scheduled April 24 ELLSWORTH — On Saturday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, the city of Ellsworth will be hosting the annual Card Brook Clean-up. The event will begin in the parking lot on the right-hand side of the Hannaford supermarket in Ellsworth. Participants will meet at 9:30 in order to register, enter the raffle drawing and receive further instruction. Volunteers should come prepared by wearing sturdy footwear that can get wet and muddy.
