Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton gave her sixth state of the city speech on Tuesday. Gorton stressed the city’s declining homicide rate, investments in affordable housing, public safety and other initiatives.
The city is spending more than $2.9 million from federal coronavirus relief money to rehab and build dozens of pickleball and tennis courts to keep up with a surge in demand.
