Jan 21, 2021 Madeline F. “Dolly” Metzger, 93, of Silver Creek, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at the Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg, N.Y. She was born on April 24, 1927, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the daughter of the late Stanley and Kathryn (Tylock) Kawski. She married Frederick “Fritz” Metzger on June 25, 1949, at St. Peter & Paul’s Church in Jamestown, N.Y. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2005. Dolly is survived by a son, Ron (Kathy) Metzger of Hamburg, N.Y.; a daughter, Sheila Wilkes of Jamestown, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Kawski and a sister, Florence Widen. ....
