The downtown YMCA building is to be repurposed as the Eau Claire Athletic Club, writes columnist David Parker.
“These classes are designed for individuals who want to focus on healthy aging in a supportive and fun atmosphere,” said Tracey Barnes Priestley, a longtime HLOC performer who worked with the company’s artistic producing director, Carol Ryder, on creating the program.
The final two songs of the festive evening will combine all 40 voices from both Humboldt Light Opera Company musical groups.
This bubbly musical swims merrily along for four more performances on Friday at 7 p.m.; Sunday at 2:00 p.m.; Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. and a closing matinee at 2 p.m. on Aug. 19. The running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with intermission.
