Questions sought for Division of the Arts director finalists Have something to ask finalists for the next director of the Division of the Arts? Suggested questions can be submitted through April 19 to Carole Kolb at carole.kolb@wisc.edu. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, presentations by finalists from the internal search will be prerecorded and include responses to a set of questions asked by Soyeon Shim, search committee chair and dean of the School of Human Ecology. Information on the finalists is available on the Director of the Division of the Arts search site. Presentations will be posted by May 6, after all the finalists have been interviewed.
Search underway for new chief diversity officer A search-and-screen committee has been appointed to help identify and select candidates for the next deputy vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion, vice provost and chief diversity officer. The committee is being chaired by Jerlando Jackson, professor and department chair in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in the School of Education. Other committee members include: Ruben Anthony, president and CEO, Urban League of Greater Madison; Trish Devine, professor in the Psychology Department, College of Letters & Science; Helen Faith, Office of Student Financial Aid, Enrollment Management; Gabe Javier, associate vice chancellor for student affairs in the areas of identity and inclusion; Sheri Johnson, associate professor in Population Health Sciences, School of Medicine and Public Health; José J.
